'6180 the moon' is a platformer game with a unique system. It offers a fresh, different game play style by connecting the top and bottom of the game screen. So, unlike traditional platformer games, dying by falling down does not happen and the mechanic of jumping is maximized. '6180 the moon' delivers a fable-like storyline in which the moon goes on a journey to find the mysteriously disappeared sun.

This game was co-created by South Korea's Indie Game Studios, Turtle Cream and PokPoong Games. Link to PokPoong Games: http://pok-poong.blogspot.com

There is a wonderful tale within you. It is the story of your ancestors and how you came to be. Tales of love, striving, family struggles, excellence, tragedy. Then there are the great legends: rags to riches, world-changing discoveries, and heroic adventure. Some may even be true.

'7 Grand Steps' is the game that connects people to the cultural roots of western civilization. From the sweat of laborers to the perspective of kings, experience the wonder of a family lineage that survived the changing ages. Or did they survive? How you guide them will determine their fate.

Like life, gameplay is a constantly shifting puzzle. Try to get the most for spending resources in the best way and in the best order. Every turn, the optimal tactic will change. Some turns will be joyful, perfectly played. In some you'll see a more optimal play, too late.

The basics are simple: spend resources to advance, but the price of resources is retreat. Think two steps forward, one step back. Behind awaits the hunger of crocodiles, ahead the challenge of ages. It's a bit like life but more grand.

A Million Minions is a humorous, cartoony action game that pits you - a castle in idyllic Youville - against an endless horde of cute and squishy minions. It all starts when three big, bad brothers steal your kingdom's candy scepter for nefarious purposes. You must retrieve it, else it may never rain candy again!

A Million Minions is designed for use with Intel's Perceptual Computing (motion control) cameras. You can smash and pound by performing gestures mid-air, just like all those futuristic books and shows promised. That said, until we figure out a good way to get cameras to judges, the game is also playable with a conventional PC mouse.

A Slower Speed of Light is a first-person game in which players navigate a 3D space while picking up orbs that reduce the speed of light in increments. A custom-built, open-source relativistic graphics engine allows the speed of light in the game to approach the player's own maximum walking speed. Visual effects of special relativity gradually become apparent to the player, increasing the challenge of gameplay. These effects, rendered in realtime to vertex accuracy, include the Doppler effect (red- and blue-shifting of visible light, and the shifting of infrared and ultraviolet light into the visible spectrum); the searchlight effect (increased brightness in the direction of travel); time dilation (differences in the perceived passage of time from the player and the outside world); Lorentz transformation (warping of space at near-light speeds); and the runtime effect (the ability to see objects as they were in the past, due to the travel time of light). Players can choose to share their mastery and experience of the game through Twitter. A Slower Speed of Light combines accessible gameplay and a fantasy setting with theoretical and computational physics research to deliver an engaging and pedagogically rich experience.

A perfect place. A city without traffic. A dog that doesn't poop. All products of the brilliant mind of Dr. X, but hell hath no fury like a mad scientist fired by a giant corporation. In this unique action-puzzler you take control of TOM, a virus created for one purpose: revenge.

Hack your way through brain scrambling puzzles while maneuvering through a thumb cramping maze of enemies. Team up through over 50 cooperative levels in what MMGN is calling "The most addictive co-op game we've played since Portal 2." And if the over 100 levels aren't enough, you and your friends can destroy each other again and again in battle mode to determine just who is the supreme virus.

Horatio Hawk has stolen a priceless artifact from a Mayan temple, and it is up to you to stop that dirty bird before he can escape! You'll have to explore every nook and cranny for weapons, abilities and extra lives if you are to have any hope of success...each level is full of dangerous critters (not to mention brutish bosses!), all with an appetite for monkey blood!

The Mayan Mystery is heavily inspired by my favourite game as a kid: Metroid. The challenge is high, the pixels are unapologetic, and it's my hope that if you were glued to your tv trying to find your way through the labyrinthine caverns of Zebes, the experience of navigating the crumbling Mayan hallways will ignite your sense of nostalgia.

To help this sense of nostalgia, I've also created an instruction manual for the game with drawings of all the enemies and bosses, along with secret information to help guide you on your quest! :)

Alone in the Park is an adventure game in which the events are conveyed via a textual narration instead of animations. So it's very much like a text adventure, but the player interacts with the game via a graphical interface, negotiating a map and static scenes.

The game world is inspired by the surreal yet prosaic world of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, in the way it satirises everyday contemporary archetypes as well as the very idea of fantasy and adventure itself.

As Slow As Possible (ASLAP) was inspired by a composition ("ASLSP") of notorious American composer John Cage. The original tempo instruction for the performing musicians was: as slow as possible. This videogame is investigating what "as slow as possible" could mean in the context of a videogame. How slow can a game become? One aspect of ASLAP (the videogame) and of ASLSP (the composition) is the perception of time and of the human time scale that goes from birth to death.

ASLAP starts slow, you need to "phase yourself in." It starts slow and gets slower and slower. And slower. Ad infinitum. Each player should decide for her/himself, how slow "as slow as possible" is.

*** Astlan is a gravity game for PC, iOS & Android ***

The gameplay is all about controlling a ship versus the inertia and gravity. The challenge of flying your way through the levels was made exciting and fun thanks to an innovative approach of physics.

The fuel that powers the ship is limited, and the energy of the ship will go down on each collision. Dealing with the fuel consumption and the ship's life condition, the player must fly through 24 levels, avoid walls & traps, collect some special items and then land properly.

Artistically speaking, the visuals are not meant to be ultra-realistic. A simple cartoonish color scheme was developed.
The game itself happens in a 2D play-field, and the visuals are all handled in 3D, offering a depth experience that make it more compelling but does not overwhelm the gameplay.

ATUM is a game that pulls the player into a world where the player is the mechanic. It brings a novelty take on the point-and-click gameplay of previous generations and it combines it with 'platformer puzzles. The game plays with the concept of multi-layer gameplay, dipping its layers in mathematical loops and philosophical recurrences.

The design and the aesthetics are influenced by sci-fi classics like Blade Runner and Martian Time Slip by Philip K. Dick. There are many in-game references to our sources of inspiration that complement the underlying storyline, using the environment as a narrative device.
ATUM is currently being developed at NHTV IGAD, Breda, The Netherlands as part of the University's Gamelab.

Based on the notion that games are often as fun to "break" as they are to play, Axiom Verge is a 2D action/adventure in the style of classic 8- and 16-bit games - but uses the glitches commonly found in such games - map corruption, inventory scrambling, flicker, slowdown, AI bugs, and the like - as "features".
