REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR IGF PRESS
Those eligible to register as press will receive a pass that grants
access to the GDC. Please note that you must be working editorial
press covering the interactive game industry. Sales, advertising,
public relations and marketing personnel, as well as analysts (see
criteria below) are not eligible to register as press. All registered
press must show a picture I.D. and meet at least two of the following
criteria:
- A business card or a copy of a masthead that
includes name, editorial title (staff writer, editor, etc.) and
the publication's logo.
- Two by-lined articles on masthead pertaining
to game development and/or the entertainment business written
by the journalist in the last six months.
- A letter from the journalist's editor, on the
media outlet's stationary, stating that they are assigned to cover
the GDC.
If the above criteria is not met, you will need
to register as a paid GDC attendee to gain admittance to the show
-- no exceptions.

The annual Game Developers Conference (GDC) is
the only trade conference by game developers and for developers
of computer, console, hand-held, arcade, location based entertainment,
and online games. It's the forum for programmers, artists, producers,
game designers, audio professionals and others involved in the development
of interactive games to exchange ideas, network, shape the future
of the industry -- and have fun. The GDC will feature over 300 classes
and round-table discussions on a comprehensive selection of game
development topics taught by leading industry experts. In addition,
