The Night Journey
USC Game Innovation Lab
The Night Journey is an experimental game created in collaboration with Bill Viola, an internationally acclaimed artist and MacArthur fellow, which uses game technologies to evoke the universal story of an individual’s journey towards enlightenment.
The Night Journey begins in the center of a mysterious landscape, at that singular time of day between the end of light and the fall of darkness. There is no one path to take, no single goal to achieve, but the player’s actions will reflect on themselves and the world, transforming and changing them both. If they are able, they may slow down time itself and forestall the fall of night. If not, there is always another chance; the fall of night will bring dreams that enlighten future journeys.
The game design explores a challenging question: what is the mechanic of enlightenment? How can we model such an intensely personal yet archetypal experience in a game? Inspiration is drawn from the prior works of Bill Viola, which provide b...

The Path
Tale of Tales
Present day. Six sisters live in an apartment in the city. Mother calls for one of them to go on an errand to grandmother. Grandmother lives in a strange house at the other side of the forest. Is that the sound of a wolf howling?
The Path is a short horror game inspired by Little Red Ridinghood. There is only one rule, and you must not follow it. There is only one goal, but if you attain it, you lose.
Developed by The Endless Forest creators Auriea Harvey & Michael Samyn. With music by Jarboe (ex-Swans).

There is Only WAR!
team fifty seven
The idea of the game derived from well known games such as Battle City and Contra, both released on the NES console.
We took the main concept of Battle City, multiplied it by Contra’s speed and action intensity, and set the result in a colourful and detailed cartoon 3D world where physics applies, days interweave with nights and weather conditions add additional life and beauty to the game world.
Four races were created as a parody of real human nations: e.g. cats – Japanese Ninjas, frogs - US Star Wars, moles – German Industrial Workers and chickens - Soviet Russian Forces. They inhabit game world and their greed pushes them to fight for world domination. The battles, victories and defeats can be experienced in four Campaigns and continued in the original Free Mode.

Wheel of Fortune Tarot
No Name Yet
Wheel of Fortune Tarot is a web game that provides free readings (donations appreciated) and teaches the basics of Tarot.
From the website:
What is Tarot?
Tarot is a deck of cards with a magical quality - ask the cards any question, any question at all, and they will answer.
How does it work?
Some believe Tarot grants a reader access to the collective unconscious shared by all of humanity. Some believe it helps us hear the voice of our guiding and guarding angels.
I believe it is, at best, a meditative tool that gives us time to listen to ourselves, to consider our problems and to construct solutions to our problems. I believe in free will and in being proactive. I don't believe that there is a fixed future to divine.
I believe the magic is in the design of the deck and in us.
When we look for meaning in the cards, we create the meaning we seek.

In every endeavor, there is something to learn and ...
