Barbetween

Barbetween is an interactive art installation that reflects on memory, regret, and recovery. One can visit it on Seltani.net, a multi-user (and multi-author) hypertext game world.

This work was created as part of ShuffleComp, a 2014 game jam that challenged authors to create original interactive fiction inspired by songs assigned to them via random shuffle. Barbetween takes its theme and its name from "Between the Bars" by Elliott Smith.

While Seltani is themed around the Myst universe, Barbetween, which takes perhaps 15 minutes to play through, requires no particular knowledge of or familiarity with Myst.
